Get a closer look at some of the plants and animals that come alive at night as Cameron Park Zoo staff takes you on a guided tour exploring the world of the Wetlands as the sun sets!

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring some water, a flashlight, and a camera or binoculars.

Everyone is welcome! No registration required. The hikes will be held rain or shine.

In celebration of Día de los Niños (Children’s Day), the Dr Pepper Museum invites families to join a day of learning, fun, and giving back! Children aged 12 and under will receive free admission to the Museum with the donation of a new or gently used book. All books will be donated back to our community, helping provide access to reading materials for other children.

Día de los Niños will include:
Pop-Up Saturday, an educational monthly program with a craft
Keurig Dr Pepper Liquid Lab. Be sure to check the event-day signage for showtime details!
Yard Games

During this two-hour tour you will get to see a different side of the Museum, one that most guests will never experience. For decades, paranormal investigators and Museum staff have experienced paranormal activity at the Museum such as floating orbs, shadow figures, voices, apparitions, and overwhelming emotions. On this tour, our expert Museum guides will lead you through both historic buildings, including their otherwise off-limits basement, to hear about the Museum’s history and investigate its paranormal activity for yourself with investigative tools such as EMF readers.

Your experience includes:

• 2 hour guided paranormal investigation of both Museum buildings, including the basement of the historic Kellum Rotan Building

• Paranormal investigation tools and flashlights provided

Because of the unique nature of this tour, guests need to be aware of some safety measures prior to booking their tour:

• Guests must be 18 years or older to participate

• Guests must wear closed-toe shoes

• Guests must sign a waiver indicating that they understand the various hazards that come with a dimly lit tour of an old building

• Filming the tour or any part of the tour is prohibited

• There are no food or beverages allowed on the tour

Presenters: Emily Hills of Urban REAP and Travis French – No Label Mushrooms

Urban REAP's motto is Loving our Neighbor by Loving our Earth: They address environmental issues that impact our community through education, food production, composting, and community building. They have a Garden Center with an emphasis on quality and access; an aquaponics greenhouse where they grow produce; a compost program that collects food waste locally; and a ton of educational and community programming. Come hear how REAP is a resource for local gardeners!

Travis French is the co-owner of No label Mushrooms- Many people know him from the Farmers Market as the Mushroom Guy. But there is so much more, he is a native Texan and currently mushroom farming full time in Leander, Tx. He has been in the fresh mushroom business for five years full time and has some of the best fresh of mushrooms you can find. Additionally, they sell food items, medicinal products, and garden amendments such as mushroom compost. Come learn about his journey and the wonderful world of Mushrooms.
